Home Assistant Nest Integration

Privacy Policy

Purpose

This personal integration uses Google Nest Device Access to display and control the owner's authorized Google Nest devices in the owner's self-hosted Home Assistant instance.

Google Nest data

The integration accesses only data and controls authorized by the owner through Google. Depending on the authorized device, this can include thermostat status, temperature, humidity, setpoints, and doorbell event metadata. The integration uses this data only for Home Assistant device display and control.

Storage and sharing

OAuth and integration credentials are managed by Google and the owner's self-hosted Home Assistant configuration. This public site does not store Google Nest data, collect personal information, use analytics, set cookies, sell data, share data for advertising, or provide accounts or forms.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke this integration's Google access through Google Account permissions or remove the Google Nest integration from Home Assistant.
